Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide rich synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences while personalizing instruction for students.
  • •Monitor and manage student progress in the learning management system, including gradebook maintenance and integrity.
  • •Differentiate instruction based on student mastery and support curricular and instructional issues in a virtual classroom environment.
  • •Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches and collaborate with administrators, principals, and coaches.
  • •Prepare students for standardized tests and travel occasionally (on average once per month, up to 20%) for testing and professional development.

Key Requirements

  • •North Carolina Elementary School teaching certification required and active state teaching license.
