Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up and commission new systems; diagnose and repair environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
  • •Provide direct customer contact and service products/equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • •Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs and forecast issues/materials.
  • •Maintain current knowledge of Trane products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) and typically 3-5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC/Controls.
  • •Preferred: Technical School or formal training, and prior experience with DDC controls systems.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency using handheld computers (smartphone, iPad).
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • •EPA preferred.
