Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet or exceed company safety standards and comply with company procedures, engineering practices, and other standards.
  • •Design piping & mechanical deliverables for capital and maintenance projects supporting small facility-based work.
  • •Work closely with project team members and interact with plant engineering groups and contractors.
  • •Read and understand scope-of-work documents and related process design letters, P&IDs, plans & elevations, and isometrics.
  • •Create piping designs and construction drawings, perform field as-builts and measurements, and produce material take-offs/BOMs while assisting estimating.

Key Requirements

  • •5-10+ years industrial experience working in the design field.
  • •Chemical Manufacturing or related industry experience is required.
  • •Experience with design of piping & mechanical systems, including equipment placement.
  • •Drawings verification for “as-builts” with field design experience.
  • •Proficiency in MicroStation is required.
