Job Summary

Senior Surety Underwriter role leading facility and bond underwriting for corporate clients in a new Polish branch. You will analyze credit risk, negotiate terms and wordings, manage surety contracts, monitor market trends, and collaborate with Sales, Claims and other lines of business to maintain competitiveness while leveraging your 7+ years of underwriting experience, fluent Polish and English capabilities, and deep surety knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently manage facility and bond underwriting for corporate clients; conduct creditworthiness and risk analyses, prepare quotations, and negotiate terms, bond wordings, indemnities, and other recourse documents in line with local and group standards
•Implement and manage surety contracts for domestic business
•Monitor market trends and emerging risks; adapt strategies to maintain competitiveness
•Collaborate closely with other LOBs, Sales, and Claims on cross-line opportunities
•Proactively manage underwriting portfolios to drive profitability and support strategic initiatives

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in Surety underwriting, with strong preference for large industrial corporate clients

•Proven track record in managing profitable underwriting portfolios and strategic initiatives
•Deep understanding of surety market, products, and regulations
•In-depth knowledge of Surety bond wordings and associated documentation
