A Finance-focused Management Accountant role within Trainline’s Finance team, responsible for monthly reporting, partnering with stakeholders, and driving commercial insight. You’ll manage budgeting/forecasting, journals, and balance sheet control while applying technical accounting knowledge to commercial contracts and new business activities in a hybrid London-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

•Own monthly reporting and analysis for designated business areas, including commentary on variances, risks and opportunities.
•Act as a trusted finance partner to stakeholders, providing accurate reporting and commercial insight to support decision-making.
•Understand cost drivers, contractual commitments, and commercial arrangements to provide informed financial guidance.
•Prepare and review month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure strong financial control.
•Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes with robust financial plans.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 50,000 - 55,000 annually

Key Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification

•Strong commercial awareness and ability to partner with stakeholders to support performance
