Job Summary

Senior software engineer leading AI resiliency efforts for NVIDIA's AI supercomputers. Key Responsibilities

•Develop AI software resiliency features, implementing and optimizing mechanisms such as fast checkpoint-recovery, error detection, error isolation, and straggler/hang detection.
•Hands-on coding and optimization of large-scale distributed systems in production-grade C++ and Python, improving AI workloads on thousands of GPUs.
•Address fault tolerance and debugging, including silent data corruption detection and proactive failure mitigation tooling.
•Collaborate with senior engineers, AI researchers, and hardware/software teams to integrate resiliency features into AI frameworks like PyTorch and JAX/XLA.
•Develop tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to validate robustness and scalability of resiliency mechanisms.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 184,000 - 287,500 annually

•Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
•Proficiency in C++ and Python with high-performance code
•6+ years of relevant experience

•Familiarity with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX/XLA, TensorFlow, or similar
