Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate tenders, allocating to bid teams, managing schedules, and ensuring safe, high-quality submissions on time.
  • •Prepare and manage tender queries/clarifications with accurate, compliant responses by client deadlines.
  • •Provide commercial support during the tender process, including rate development, commercial query responses, and sharing best-practice examples.
  • •Maintain oversight of the opportunity pipeline (tracking, forecasting, and proactive opportunity management) and support bid governance inputs.
  • •Support framework management and delivery of tender commitments, including reporting, supplier/client engagement, contract set-up administration, documentation updates, and internal onboarding/training. (Focus on delivering on-time, high-quality contractual commitments and escalating risks when required.)

  • •Knowledge of NH/ Highways industry.
  • •Independent worker who is organised, proactive, flexible, and methodical with excellent attention to detail.
  • •Continuous improvement focused problem solver with good collaborative communication skills.
  • •Desirable: Knowledge of NEC4 PSC contracts and experience of Framework Management.
  • •Desirable: Bid best practice/bid writing or reviewing skills (e.g., PMO experience, APM qualifications).
