Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to MSHA/OSHA/DOT and company safety rules, and complete daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRACK).
  • •Signal concrete deliverers, position discharge chute, spread concrete into forms, and level to specified depth and consistency.
  • •Finish concrete surfaces using tools such as straightedge and floats, power screed, power trowel, and wet-rub finishing methods.
  • •Repair rough/defective spots using power grinders or hand tools, and patch with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
  • •Support construction operations including molding expansion joints/edges, measuring grade stakes/lines, traffic control coordination, and keeping tools/work areas clean.
