Key Responsibilities

  • •Support air transport, business, regional, and military aircraft products and programs with reliability engineering leadership.
  • •Mentor junior engineers, advise product development teams, and develop and implement reliability engineering processes within the Avionics business unit.
  • •Perform bid and proposal activities for military and commercial avionics programs.
  • •Complete reliability assessments including reliability predictions (MTBF estimates and component failure rates) using 217Plus, incorporating field performance data when applicable.
  • •Execute derating analysis and safety/reliability analyses (FMEAs, HIRF and Lightning analysis, testability and maintainability), and develop and oversee accelerated stress testing and environmental stress screening (HALT/HASS).

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience (or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience).
  • •Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • •Experience in reliability engineering (RMS), including processes and procedures.
