Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for the management and leadership of technical project teams to deliver project scope.
  • •Fulfil the role of Design Manager on complex, multi-disciplinary programmes of work.
  • •Provide technical leadership within the office, supporting with technical audits and the development of junior team members.
  • •Demonstrate visible leadership of health, safety and wellbeing on projects.
  • •Oversee the technical preparation, review and checking of deliverables and coordinate multi-disciplinary design outputs.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Civil Engineer with the ICE or CIHT and extensive post‑qualification experience.
  • •Experience in the leadership of large technical teams.
  • •Proven track record in the role of Design Manager on major Roads programmes including the integration of multi‑disciplinary designs and QA audits.
  • •Broad project experience focused on highways within civil engineering and multi‑disciplinary projects.
  • •Experience in the technical and financial leadership of Design and Build contracts.
