Senior Technical Director leading Roads projects, responsible for delivery, technical leadership, design management and growing client relationships across UK schemes. Key Responsibilities

•Take responsibility for the management and leadership of technical project teams to deliver project scope.
•Fulfil the role of Design Manager on complex, multi-disciplinary programmes of work.
•Provide technical leadership within the office, supporting with technical audits and the development of junior team members.
•Demonstrate visible leadership of health, safety and wellbeing on projects.
•Oversee the technical preparation, review and checking of deliverables and coordinate multi-disciplinary design outputs.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Civil Engineer with the ICE or CIHT and extensive post‑qualification experience.
•Experience in the leadership of large technical teams.
•Proven track record in the role of Design Manager on major Roads programmes including the integration of multi‑disciplinary designs and QA audits.
•Broad project experience focused on highways within civil engineering and multi‑disciplinary projects.
•Experience in the technical and financial leadership of Design and Build contracts.
