Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and improve AMD’s multi-cloud data distribution platform.
  • •Develop software that automates and streamlines AMD’s chip development workflows.
  • •Contribute to systems supporting CPU, GPU, and related technology development.
  • •Promote consistent, maintainable, and documented software engineering practices within the team and across the organization.
  • •Work with cross-team stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-documented engineering solutions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 79,800 - 136,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Experience developing and maintaining software using Python and shell scripting.
  • •Experience using cloud storage and compute technologies such as S3 and EC2 (or comparable services).
  • •Experience administering databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB (or comparable systems).
  • •Experience administering Linux/Unix and using version control and CI/CD tools such as Git/Perforce and GitHub Actions/Jenkins.
