Lead the Great Lakes Region controls estimating team, providing accurate HVAC controls cost estimates and quotes. •Lead the Great Lakes Region Controls Estimating Team.
•Produce cost estimates covering materials, subcontractors, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities to support Account Managers in bidding and pricing.
•Develop detailed scope and cost estimates, including system sketches, scope definition, exceptions/exclusions, preliminary proposals, and vendor/subcontractor quotes.
•Perform take-off and pricing of purchased equipment to ensure accurate quantity, size, configuration, voltage, and options.
•Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk items, negotiate vendor/subcontractor pricing, and participate in pre-bid meetings with Account Managers.

Key Requirements

•Associates or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with 1–3 years in estimating, engineering, construction management, or control systems, or 3–5 years of field controls experience (or equivalent).
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
•Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
•Ability to develop detailed scope and cost estimates based on project plans, specifications, and design-build scope.
•Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
