Job Summary

Lead architectural design projects in Ottawa, overseeing design solutions, construction drawings, and multi-disciplinary coordination. Manage teams of architects, engineers, and consultants, directing meetings, client communication, and ensuring projects meet cost, quality, and schedule targets. Leverage BIM, REVIT, AutoCAD, and visualization tools to deliver design excellence for government and community-building initiatives.

Job Function: Program & Project Management (PMO)

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings
•Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects
•Manage a team of consultants
•Client communication
•Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets

Key Requirements

•Licensed Architect or professional designation/education in a design/construction focused field.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be considered an asset.
•Minimum of 10 years experience working in a similar role.
•Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam.
•Experience with Security & Defence and mixed-use projects would be considered an asset.
