Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, including detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities across multiple environments.
  • •Expand and maintain XDR telemetry and integrations across first-party Elastic data and third-party sources for correlation across real environments.
  • •Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, including prioritization based on exploitability/reachability and remediation workflows.
  • •Write high-quality requirements engineering can act on and translate customer input and Elastic Security Labs threat research into product.
  • •Represent product in customer conversations and maintain awareness of competitive landscape and GTM strategy while creating roadmap artifacts for stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years in security-related technical product management (or equivalent), and at least 3 years in related product development or a technical field, with experience owning outcomes from requirements through shipped iterations.
  • •Hands-on domain knowledge of XDR/EDR/SIEM, incident response, or forensics, with credibility discussing correlation, response, and detection engineering.
  • •Comfort building or owning products that depend on heterogeneous third-party data and wide telemetry/integration coverage.
  • •A solid comprehension of analytics techniques behind detection and prioritization and of the current cyber threat landscape, including familiarity with AI security concepts (ML/agentic systems).
  • •BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security; strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly.
