Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and inspire a high-performing wildlife team, setting priorities, managing workloads, and ensuring delivery of projects and client commitments.
  • •Champion people leadership practices including mentorship, career development, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • •Partner with the Director to drive operational and financial performance, monitor team metrics, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • •Collaborate with Group Managers, Directors, and Business Line leaders to optimize resources and deliver integrated multidisciplinary solutions for clients.
  • •Provide technical excellence support through guidance, quality oversight, and strategic direction on wildlife and environmental projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • •Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, including leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • •Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and environmental assessment frameworks across Western and Northern Canada.
  • •Demonstrated success developing and maintaining client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
  • •Professional designation (e.g., R.P.Biol., P.Biol., or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain registration.
