Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain relationships to act as a specialized 1stLOD partner for operational risk governance maturity and risk governance.
  • •Serve as go-to subject matter expert on risks specific to the local market and ensure risks/issues are identified, assessed, prioritized, and managed across operational risk programs.
  • •Manage details of risk and controls governance forums, interface with org-wide governance processes, and share insights across forums.
  • •Support enterprise policy and program compliance for specific risk types; compile/review emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates.
  • •Support operational risk program activities including PRSA/BST, issues management, risk assessments for new products/capabilities, audit program management, and regulatory change management.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit) and understanding of critical operational risk lifecycle activities.
  • •Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact with and gain buy-in from senior business/tech counterparts.
  • •Experience in process governance with a track record of establishing and overseeing decision-making processes aligned to policies, regulatory frameworks, and operational standards.
  • •Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios.
