Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop project management teams delivering major projects across PMCM’s sectors, balancing leadership with project delivery.
  • •Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary delivery across project management, programme management, design, risk, PMO, cost and carbon management, planning, and information management.
  • •Drive business growth and build strong client relationships across multiple sectors including highways, rail, urban infrastructure, civils, energy, flood, water, wind, and utilities.
  • •Oversee commercial delivery including cost management, budget forecasting, and NEC3/4 ECC contract management, supporting change management implementation.
  • •Challenge the status quo and deliver projects to high standards against demanding KPIs with a focus on net zero and sustainability.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognised qualifications (PMP, APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent) and substantial experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes.
  • •Extensive stakeholder engagement and client management experience, with a proven track record of building and maintaining high-performing teams.
  • •Strong commercial acumen including cost management, budget forecasting, and NEC3/4 ECC contract management (accreditation desirable), plus change management implementation experience.
  • •Deep understanding of resource management and forecasting, with the ability to communicate effectively and take line management responsibilities.
  • •Degree in a relevant technical discipline (civil engineering or project/construction management) or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
