Key Responsibilities

  • •Pre-screen color panels and samples with suppliers/tier partners for color, texture, and gloss while maintaining CMF design intent.
  • •Develop color matches with suppliers for specific YETI partnerships following CMF matching specifications.
  • •Apply CMF specifications by understanding color requirements and performance expectations of finishes.
  • •Provide final color approval prior to starting mass production.
  • •Communicate with the Core Color team and suppliers throughout the color trial process and source new materials for the CMF library.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •BA or BS degree in Color/CMF, Industrial Design, Product Design, or equivalent experience with a strong portfolio.
  • •At least 4 years of professional experience in CMF or Color design/development in a product or consumer-goods company.
  • •High color acuity and ability to pass the Munsell Hue Color Test with a superior score.
  • •Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication/presentation to articulate CMF concepts and manufacturing processes cross-functionally.
  • •Keen attention to detail and ability to self-manage, meet milestones/deadlines, and manage multiple activities with possible pivots.
