Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, test, and maintain scalable and resilient data platform services using DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
  • •Peer review code to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
  • •Respond to support requests to keep other teams running with the Data Platform.
  • •Write and maintain documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Keep abreast of new technology developments and bring them into the business, particularly GenAI.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in software engineering or a related field, including equivalent experience and non-traditional backgrounds.
  • •Experience working with data platforms, distributed systems, and data pipelines in cloud-native environments.
  • •Understanding of SRE practices, including observability, incident response, and automation.
  • •Experience with Git/GitHub, Terraform, AWS, Kafka, and Python (or equivalent technologies).
  • •Some data manipulation experience, such as SQL.
