Job Summary

Build customer relationships in a financial center by using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify needs, recommend retail and small business solutions, and schedule periodic financial reviews. After a 4–8 week onboarding and certification program, process teller transactions and work with the platform team. Drive cross-selling, meet production and customer experience goals, and coordinate referrals with business partners.

•Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with certification for the Retail Personal Banker job family.
•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend appropriate retail consumer and small business solutions using the company value proposition.
•Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and other approved marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Process teller transactions and provide guidance and referrals across business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to deliver holistic financial solutions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Comfort developing and executing sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated ability to understand advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
