Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and coordinate absence, accommodation, and workers’ compensation cases, managing approximately 100 active cases concurrently and ensuring timely progression against service level agreements.
  • •Partner with TPAs, workers’ compensation carriers, HR business partners, and stakeholders to triage, resolve, and manage outcomes across the case lifecycle.
  • •Administer FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and DOT/FMCSA administrative leave workflows, including return-to-work confirmations, intermittent leave tracking, and transitions to other benefit programs.
  • •Handle employee- and leader-facing escalations and inquiries (including via phone, chat, and email), de-escalating calls and determining appropriate next steps.
  • •Compile and review claims activity data and reporting (service levels, quality, escalations, dashboards) and maintain accurate compliance documentation and audit readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline with 2 years of related experience in absence management, leave administration, or accommodations (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Strong knowledge of self-funded and fully insured disability benefit programs and ERISA guidelines, including intersections with related leave and accommodation regulations.
  • •Working knowledge of leave and accommodation programs including FMLA lifecycle administration, ADA interactive process and documentation, and PWFA accommodation support.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • •Experience using HRIS, leave management, and case management systems such as Workday, AbsenceTracker, Service Station, UKG, or Kronos, plus strong communication and discretion handling confidential medical information.
