Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direction to the HR team to implement and maintain HR initiatives supporting company objectives.
  • •Coach and guide leaders and frontline personnel on conflict resolution and performance management in compliance with company and federal/state/local laws.
  • •Drive recruitment, selection, and succession planning, including sourcing/screening and recommending candidates; manage interview scheduling and participation.
  • •Initiate job offers, ensuring HCM-generated letters are electronically signed or manual letters are signed and uploaded into Workday at hire time.
  • •Lead engagement, diversity, talent management, training, and change management initiatives; ensure compliance with union agreements and handle grievances as applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (combination of education and experience may substitute).
  • •5+ years’ progressive human resources experience, with preferred experience.
  • •1+ year experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • •Demonstrated leadership experience with knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, and conflict resolution.
  • •Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and experience with an HCM system such as Workday (preferred).
