Job Summary

Evaluate marine structures and bridges as part of an inspection team, analyzing deterioration and calculating remaining load capacities while producing engineering reports and technical documentation. Participate in diving operations as a diver or tender, and help senior engineers design structural repairs for bridges and marine infrastructure. Plan and conduct bridge inspections in compliance with NBIS and OSHA, while upholding safety, quality, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate marine structures and bridges, analyze deteriorated components, and calculate remaining load capacities.
•Prepare engineering reports and technical documentation based on inspection findings.
•Participate in diving operations as a diver or tender during field work.
•Assist senior engineers with designing structural repairs for bridges and marine structures.
•Plan, schedule, and conduct bridge inspections in compliance with NBIS and OSHA regulations while upholding safety, quality, and ethical standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
•Engineer Intern (EI) certification or ability to obtain within one year.
•ADCI Commercial Diver Certification and ability to pass ADCI medical examination.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, and CAD software.
•0–3 years of relevant experience and ability to perform fieldwork (including carrying gear up to 75 lbs) and travel frequently overnight.
