Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of Field Test Engineers supporting defense programs across multiple AUV platforms.
  • •Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to operationalize advances in AUV technology and execute customer-facing demonstrations.
  • •Plan, lead, and execute daily operations and longer-duration events, ensuring technical details, staffing, and operational risk management.
  • •Coordinate test execution with government customers, partners, vendors, and logistics companies, including at-sea deployments.
  • •Support test-plan creation/review and documentation for AUV operations, and provide feedback to the product team to mature systems.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Manage and lead a team of Field Test Engineers with strong technical proficiency in a relevant discipline (Software, Mechanical, Systems, or Ocean Engineering).
  • •Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to delegate, inspire, mentor, and foster a productive environment.
  • •Develop complex operational and logistics plans to move people and equipment effectively over long distances in unfamiliar locations.
  • •Bring extensive hands-on field operations, systems administration, or test technical experience and be able to solve problems in unstructured situations.
  • •Maintain an active NV1 clearance (NV2 preferred).
