Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with internal teams to support cloud opportunities and drive lasting customer success through Akamai Cloud adoption and technical execution.
  • •Embed with strategic customers (remotely/onsite) to translate requirements into production-ready architectures, prototypes, integrations, and solutions.
  • •Analyze and break down application components to build scalable, efficient service-oriented architectures, APIs, and web services.
  • •Architect and deploy high-performance AI/ML infrastructure, optimizing GPU workloads and integrating scalable inference platforms for enterprise customers.
  • •Provide hands-on engineering across high-touch engagements, including discovery, proof-of-concept, implementation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Travel frequently to customer locations; regular onsite embedding is expected as a core requirement.
  • •6+ years of experience with cloud-based applications across architecture, implementation, engineering, and strategy in large-scale systems.
  • •Expertise in technical roles for cloud software and public cloud environments with customer-focused responsibilities, including IaaS architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
  • •Ability to thrive in highly collaborative, embedded customer environments as an extension of the customer’s technical team during strategic engagements.
  • •Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
