Job Summary

Design and own cloud-native, AI-based software solutions that modernize retail, logistics, and consumer goods processes—from store to supply chain. You’ll integrate with existing IT and POS infrastructure, ensure requirements like real-time availability, scalability, and data protection, and provide technical leadership across development teams. In pre-sales, you’ll bring retail/food/consumer-goods expertise into solution proposals while driving architectural evolution and sharing knowledge through communities.

Key Responsibilities

•Concept, develop, and take ownership of cloud-native and AI-based software solutions for retail, logistics, and consumer-goods processes.
•Ensure integration into existing IT and POS environments while meeting requirements such as real-time availability, scalability, and data protection.
•Provide technical responsibility for development teams and guide customers across the software lifecycle from strategy to rollout.
•Support pre-sales by applying retail, food, and consumer-goods domain knowledge to solution and offer processes.
•Drive ongoing technological advancement and actively share expertise in communities to shape innovative retail architectures.

Key Requirements

•Completed IT degree or comparable qualification with experience in retail, FMCG, or food projects focused on IT architecture or software development.
•Hands-on experience designing cloud and microservice architectures enabling real-time data, omnichannel processes, and scalable customer interaction platforms.
•Knowledge of architecture standards and frameworks such as MACH, TOGAF, and ITIL and ability to apply them to retail and supply-chain scenarios.
•Experience integrating systems like ERP, CRM, POS, and eCommerce platforms, including orchestrating data flows efficiently.
•Strong DevOps and cloud skills with AWS, Azure, and GCP, and confident communication in German and English.
