  • •Lead technical initiatives that automate system engineering efforts to guarantee reliability of the global Elastic infrastructure.
  • •Grow and mature global platform infrastructure by developing and maintaining software, tooling, and automations.
  • •Respond to and prevent repeated customer impact during major incidents using prioritized problem management.
  • •Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation and use collaboration to drive operational excellence.

Key Requirements

  • •A software engineering background to collaborate with engineers and deliver solutions with an SRE perspective.
  • •Experience in public cloud and managed Kubernetes services is advantageous.
  • •Operate and improve SaaS infrastructure in public cloud using Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Crossplane or Terraform.
  • •Build or operate Kubernetes-at-scale infrastructure across multiple cloud providers with the automation that supports it.
  • •Experience with incident management, alerting, and metrics systems to diagnose issues and quantify impacts.
