Job Summary

Join the Rail & Transit team to support conceptual and detailed design of stormwater and drainage systems for rail, transit, highway, and municipal projects across Western Canada. Develop drainage layouts, profiles, and quantities using Civil 3D or MicroStation, perform hydraulic and hydrologic modelling with PCSWMM, and help produce drawings, technical memoranda, and reports while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Support conceptual and detailed design of stormwater and drainage infrastructure for rail, transit, highway, and municipal projects.
•Develop drainage layouts, profiles, special details, and quantities using Civil 3D or MicroStation.
•Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modelling using tools such as PCSWMM and support model interpretation and reporting.
•Prepare design drawings, technical memoranda, and reports in coordination with senior engineers.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and incorporate municipal, provincial, and regulatory requirements into project designs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 89,800 - 118,900 annually

Key Requirements

•3–6 years of relevant experience designing stormwater management and drainage systems.
•A degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) with eligibility for P.Eng. registration, or recent P.Eng. designation.
•Experience with both conceptual and detailed design of stormwater infrastructure.
•Hands-on experience using Civil 3D and/or MicroStation for drainage design.
•Working knowledge of hydraulic modelling tools, with PCSWMM experience required.
