Job Summary

Design and build scalable, distributed, high-performance applications and back-office/regulatory reporting systems for a financial brokerage. Own development through production: create new systems, support releases, plan deployments, and monitor integrations. Troubleshoot issues impacting development and collaborate with internal stakeholders and developers across production and development environments. This hybrid role allows 2 remote days but requires working from the Greenwich, CT office 3 days per week.

•Design and build solutions for regulatory reporting and back-office systems used by a financial brokerage.
•Create scalable architecture for distributed high-performance applications and systems.
•Develop new systems and provide support after release into production.
•Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications.
•Plan and execute deployments of system features and monitor integration success; identify and resolve development-impacting issues.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•3+ years of professional software engineering experience developing with Java.
•3 years of experience each with J2EE, Spring Framework, and JBoss Application Server; and with Oracle, SQL, and Hibernate.
•3 years of experience each with JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, and JUnit for unit testing; plus JMS for Java messaging services; and Linux; and Maven.
•1 year of experience each with Python, Git, Gradle, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
