Operate and oversee the vessel DP (dynamic positioning) system according to operational requirements. Manage continual on-duty DP control room schemes, ensure DP system data are properly recorded, and set up DP operating parameters. Support maintenance of DP equipment and perform frequent inspections of DP sensors, computers, and references. Implement IMCA DP requirements and ensure the JDPO is trained and capable of handling the DP system.
