Job Summary

Senior Solutions Architect to design and validate robotics and AI-enabled solutions for customers in the US. You’ll lead discovery, architect scalable end-to-end integrations of DroneDeploy hardware and software, supervise deployments, and serve as the primary technical advisor across pre- and post-sales engagements while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with prospective and existing customers to understand business goals, operational workflows, technical constraints, and success criteria.
•Architect scalable solutions that align customer needs with DroneDeploy product capabilities, implementation requirements, and long-term value.
•Lead technical discovery, solution scoping, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and validation activities for complex customer opportunities.
•Support deployments and implementations, including configuration, integration planning, training, troubleshooting, and optimization.
•Act as the primary technical advisor in customer-facing engagements, clearly communicating risks, tradeoffs, recommendations, and next steps to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•8+ years in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, systems engineering, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing technical role

•Proficiency with Python, ROS, or similar tools used in robotics and automation integration
•Knowledge of connectivity, infrastructure, networking, power systems, hardware/software interoperability, or operational field workflows
•Demonstrated ability handling complex software platforms and integrated hardware/software systems in real-world environments
