Key Responsibilities

  • •Spray paint vehicles, special weapons items, guided missile systems, and related equipment using enamel, lacquer, and vinyl materials.
  • •Apply specialized coatings and create camouflage finishes using multiple colors and irregular patterns.
  • •Mix, thin, and adjust paints (including dryers/flattening agents) and maintain proper spray gun settings and air pressure.
  • •Prepare and inspect surfaces, including cleaning and maintaining nozzles/restrictors and confirming proper preparation before painting.
