Job Summary

Provide legal counsel to Visa’s Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS) team, supporting products such as Visa Direct and Visa Commercial Solutions. Advise on commercial, product, regulatory, privacy, and IP matters; draft, review, and negotiate contracts and pilot agreements; and help drive regulatory engagement and business expansion. Partner with internal Legal & Compliance specialists and manage outside counsel across Europe and globally, while training business teams on key legal processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide counsel and legal advice to the CMS team across commercial, product, regulatory, privacy, and IP matters.
•Serve as a trusted partner and strategic thinker for regulatory engagement and business expansion.
•Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of contracts, including pilot agreements and developing forms.
•Provide expert advice on regulatory and data protection issues, coordinating with internal specialists and external counsel as needed.
•Manage outside counsel and budgets, and provide training to business teams on key legal issues, processes, and policies.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer in England & Wales with ideally 8+ years PQE (open to other jurisdictions).
•Previous experience working within a regulated business.
•Demonstrable experience at a recognised law firm and/or in-house environment.
•Strong legal drafting and negotiating skills, including relationship management.
•Fluency in English and excellent written and oral communication skills.
