Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement real-time services with high throughput and low latency, then verify, deploy, and operationalize them.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver simple, robust, and scalable solutions for the Voice channel.
  • •Participate across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, estimations, sprint planning, coding, testing, and deployments.
  • •Support and maintain team services in a distributed production environment using agile practices and continuous delivery.
  • •Scale a complex distributed platform across global points of presence with high availability, reliability, throughput, low latency, and media fidelity.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in large-scale, distributed applications using JVM-based technologies.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
  • •Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems).
  • •Experience building RESTful services, API design, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS).
  • •Hands-on Java experience with ability to architect, review, and debug systems; plus experience with CI/CD optimization, on-call/incident response, monitoring/alerting, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, OpenStack, or Azure).
