Job Summary

Provide technical engineering support for electrical systems across project and operational activities, including design support, review of shop drawings and calculations, installation and testing support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Coordinate with MEP coordinators, contractors, consultants, and other technical departments to ensure compliance with specifications, local authorities, and standards, while improving system reliability and electrical performance. Lead HSE initiative implementation, safety awareness, and incident reporting in line with company and IMS policies.

Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Liaise with MEP coordinators, main contractor technical team, and consultants to ensure electrical engineering activities are executed effectively.
•Ensure discipline shop drawings are prepared in coordination with other disciplines, within the target schedule and in compliance with local authorities and standards.
•Review and approve electrical shop drawings and design calculations before submission, and review/sign off electrical material technical submittals before issuance.
•Review and approve method statements in compliance with project specifications and authorities; coordinate with other technical departments for reviews and approvals.
•Guide engineers/draftsmen through the work activities management process, assign targets and responsibilities, and support HSE initiatives including incident reporting and resolution.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years working experience, including 5 years relevant electrical engineering experience.
•Professional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or certification with attestation.
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
•Strong knowledge of the construction field and applicable electrical codes/standards (including NFPA and local regulations).
•ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills to succeed in the role.
