Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop HVAC refrigeration and airflow systems to meet performance, regulatory, quality, and cost requirements.
  • •Review technical feasibility of product/internal requirements; design and select components and develop engineering specifications.
  • •Complete system integration work including engineering design, specifications, layout support creation, and design reviews.
  • •Develop laboratory test plans and analyze test data to ensure product performance and quality.
  • •Provide guidance and leadership, manage project schedules and teams, and ensure FRACAS and DFMEA items are resolved to minimize quality escapes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in an Engineering discipline.
  • •3–5 years’ experience leading technical aspects of product design projects, validation testing, and root cause analysis.
  • •Deliver and lead technical designs that meet project and product requirements.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC system functions including refrigeration, heat transfer, airflow, and ventilation (preferred).
  • •Good understanding of computer simulation tools and theory applied to HVAC system design (preferred).
