Key Responsibilities

•Integrate and lead the deployment of the API Security Platform and its components across diverse enterprise ecosystems.
•Resolve deployment issues across Kubernetes platforms, virtual appliances, cloud infrastructure, networking, API gateways, authentication flows, hybrid architectures, and distributed applications.
•Act as a partner to customer engineering, DevOps, cloud, networking, or security teams to deploy and operationalize Akamai API Security Platform.
•Analyze API traffic to identify misconfigurations, authentication gaps, and performance bottlenecks.
•Develop enterprise architecture diagrams, integration patterns, deployment plans, and operational runbooks; lead customer workshops and architectural reviews.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience architecting IaaS solutions for enterprise customers across cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and API infrastructures.
•Hands-on experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm) and traditional enterprise infrastructure (Linux, VMware/OVA).
•Hands-on with major cloud platforms and IaC tools; strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
•Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to lead workshops, enablement sessions, and architectural reviews.
•Professional certifications from AWS, GCP, Azure and/or Oracle and/or CNCF.
