Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel from site to site as part of a dedicated surveying team to carry out detailed asset surveys across the Defence built estate.
  • •Identify assets, verify locations, apply asset tags, and accurately capture survey information.
  • •Review existing records, identify missing or incorrect data, and highlight discrepancies for further investigation.
  • •Work closely with DIO, clients, site teams, and other stakeholders to support delivery of survey activity to required standards.
  • •Ensure survey work is delivered safely and in line with established processes and safety requirements.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Previous surveying experience in construction, the built environment, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Experience with asset surveys, inspections, tagging, audits, data collection, or asset management.
  • •Strong attention to detail with literacy and numeracy skills, and confidence using digital tools, spreadsheets, mobile devices, or survey data capture systems.
  • •Ability to identify inconsistencies and accurately record information.
  • •Comfort working outdoors and across live operational sites, with commitment to extensive travel and overnight stays where required.
