Job Summary

Build and own release-defining projects for a managed service running SingleStore clusters across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll design and implement networking, control plane, and infrastructure capabilities for multi-cloud, multi-region, multi-tenant, low-latency systems on Kubernetes. Solve complex distributed-systems issues affecting consistency, availability, performance, security, and cost, and debug production problems spanning cross-cloud asymmetries.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical design and decision-making for large, release-defining projects across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and database technology.
•Design and implement capabilities across networking, control plane, and managed service infrastructure, including multi-cloud and multi-region architecture, secure connectivity, identity, and storage.
•Solve complex, mission-critical problems with scalable, maintainable, resilient solutions covering consistency, availability, performance, isolation, security, and cost across thousands of tenants.
•Investigate, debug, and fix cloud issues by diagnosing distributed-systems bugs, noisy-neighbor regressions, and cross-cloud asymmetries in production.

Key Requirements

•4+ years building and debugging system-level software in languages such as Golang, C++, or Rust.
•Strong hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud services.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
•Ability to design and build highly reliable, high-performance system software.
•Track record leading non-trivial projects from design through production rollout.
