Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate supplier requirements; perform make-versus-buy analysis and coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
  • •Coordinate product development process deliverables with buyers, planners, and production control as part of the materials core team.
  • •Support creation, releases, and updates of new project materials strategy; participate in commercialization materials planning and change control.
  • •Support supplier price and delivery negotiations, supplier selection/assessment, supplier risk assessment, and monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost).
  • •Identify critical and long-lead parts and inspection requirements with engineering; resolve supplier quality issues and generate/publish KPIs and landed cost targets.
