Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete work area setup and safely operate/fe ed the production machine according to established procedures.
  • •Select banding materials and apply contour banding to panels in line with work orders and operating requirements.
  • •Stack completed products and, when required, cover, label, and band components/finished product.
  • •Perform pre-shift/startup equipment inspections, report concerns, and maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
  • •Maintain production records and check materials/finished products to ensure compliance with standards and safety/quality procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Some basic knowledge of contour banding for curved, rounded, or irregular-shaped edges in woodworking/cabinet manufacturing.
  • •Ability to read blueprints/work orders to determine dimensions.
  • •Experience with machine operation and/or manufacturing/assembling (minimum 6 months required).
  • •Comfort using small hand tools/routers, cutting knives, glue guns/applicators, and tape measures.
  • •High school diploma/GED preferred and ability to work safely (must be at least 18 years old).
