Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with a distributed compiler and runtime team to accelerate workloads on NVIDIA Vera and Vera Rubin systems.
  • •Analyze execution paths across interpreters, bytecode, JIT/AOT compilers, VMs, garbage collection, runtime libraries, and OS interactions.
  • •Investigate CPU agentic application stacks, including Python, Node.js, Java, and related frameworks.
  • •Work with application performance and hardware/software teams to identify bottlenecks and deliver measurable speedups.
  • •Land optimizations in open source and internal software stacks, and participate in HW/SW co-design through launch, enablement, and production support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of production software development experience in compilers, language runtimes, virtual machines, interpreters, performance engineering, or related systems software.
  • •Excellent hands-on C/C++ programming skills with experience working in large production codebases.
  • •Deep understanding of managed runtime implementation techniques such as bytecode interpreters, JIT/AOT, profiling, deoptimization, inline caching, garbage collection, runtime libraries, or VM services.
  • •Hands-on experience analyzing and improving application performance using profilers, tracing, benchmarking, hardware performance counters, or systematic analysis methods.
