Job Summary

Design and implement a reliable R&D analytics data layer that enables trusted reporting on key metrics. Build it using AWS Glue, Athena/Presto, and LookML, while partnering with Data Science & Analytics and Product/Engineering teams to define metrics, maintain data lineage, and ensure data accuracy through automated reconciliation and quality checks. Lead anomaly investigations, communicate findings across technical and non-technical audiences, and mentor the team on data modeling and testing best practices.

•Collaborate across Data Science & Analytics and Product/Engineering to define, document, and maintain alignment on metric definitions and data lineage.
•Develop and maintain automated data reconciliation and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies in critical reports and dashboards.
•Lead investigations into complex data anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
•Mentor team members and enforce best practices for data modeling, testing, documentation, and code review.

•Proven track record of owning ambiguous projects from beginning to end with minimal guidance.
•Strong technical communication and mentorship skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
