Key Responsibilities

  • •Process new loan applications by interviewing members, analyzing credit reports and documentation, and offering the best loan product.
  • •Exercise lending authority to correctly handle consumer loan requests.
  • •Create and promote positive name recognition for the Credit Union, including support at special credit union events.
  • •Work with branch/department managers to identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities and research member inquiries.
  • •Implement and enforce internal control and security measures in accordance with Credit Union policies and government regulations, including providing member-services coverage and notary services as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Comfortable with a 20 hour, part-time position.
  • •Strong working background in a financial institution and relevant consumer loan processing or underwriting experience within the last twelve months.
  • •Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • •Ability to speak, read, and write in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
