Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate conversations, meetings, forms, policies, and procedures from one language to another to improve safety and production.
  • •Train non-English speaking employees on processes, policies, and requirements in their native language; document training.
  • •Assist with interviews and new hire orientation by translating questions, answers, and presentations as needed.
  • •Adhere to safe work practices, maintain sanitary conditions for product quality, and report conditions that may affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety.
  • •Comply with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations; perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
  • •Minimum one year of experience accurately translating from English to another language and back; multiple languages preferred.
  • •Ability to use Microsoft Office to manage data and create reports.
  • •Detail oriented with highly effective verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
  • •Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated, and work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
