Key Responsibilities

  • •Take ownership of a complex built estate and provide technical leadership to on-site teams, ensuring safe, compliant operation of critical infrastructure.
  • •Oversee end-to-end delivery of planned and reactive maintenance, aligning work to statutory obligations and MoD-specific safety standards.
  • •Manage supply chain mobilisation and ensure operatives are suitably qualified; maintain oversight of service delivery using Maximo asset performance data.
  • •Drive health, safety, and environmental compliance, including risk assessment and method statement reviews, and manage asbestos and legionella risks.
  • •Manage local budgets and performance against financial milestones; develop condition-based maintenance programmes and support lifecycle planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in estate or facilities management, ideally in construction, property maintenance, or similarly complex environments.
  • •Strong working knowledge of MOD systems, particularly JSP375, and experience managing Safe Systems of Work.
  • •A recognised technical qualification in a related field, supported by a management-level health and safety certification (e.g., SMSTS).
  • •Experience with statutory maintenance requirements, condition assessments, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • •UK national eligibility to obtain and retain SC clearance for the site.
