Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop robust backend services and clean, scalable distributed systems.
  • •Deliver reliable user and loyalty experiences across the SEAO Ecommerce system.
  • •Work on high-visibility projects that impact customer lifetime value and retention.
  • •Build and maintain event-driven integrations across microservices.
  • •Create personalized and localized experiences for users across multiple countries in the region.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional experience building production-grade backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
  • •Strong proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB.
  • •Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem: Hibernate, JDBC, Maven, and Gradle.
  • •Experience with event streaming (Kafka) and/or message queuing systems (RabbitMQ).
  • •Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP; frontend frameworks like VueJS or NuxtJS are a plus.
