Key Responsibilities

•Define and optimize end-to-end AI system architectures for embedded/edge platforms, including GPU/NPU HW–SW co-design and AI model behavior considerations.
•Lead HW–SW co-design and optimization strategies for AI workloads across robotics, automotive, and industrial domains.
•Influence silicon/platform roadmaps using model-driven architectural insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams across silicon, software, and product groups.
•Architect AI solutions with deep understanding of model internals and deployment constraints, including OTA updates and lifecycle management.
•Mentor internal AI engineers and represent AMD’s architectural strategy with customers and ecosystem partners.

Key Requirements

•Strong expertise in GPU/NPU architecture and hardware-aware AI model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation)
•Hands-on experience with AI models and inference pipelines (e.g., CNNs, Transformers) for embedded/edge deployments
•Experience with AI software stacks, compilers, and runtimes (PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT-like)
•Ability to influence silicon roadmaps and coordinate across cross-functional teams (silicon, software, product)
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
