Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain real-time embedded security firmware in C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M MCUs under Zephyr, optimized for ultra-low-power always-on operation.
  • •Implement secure boot chains, signed firmware images, and secure update mechanisms; manage on-device cryptographic keys and perform tamper-event zeroization.
  • •Design sensor acquisition pipelines and apply DSP techniques to classify tamper signatures versus environmental noise, minimizing false positives and missed events.
  • •Handle platform bring-up and integration on NXP and NVIDIA platforms, including BSP integration, boot-chain validation, peripheral enablement, and driver/platform debugging.
  • •Deliver tamper-response logic and ensure end-to-end validation, including CI/CD with unit/integration/HIL tests, code/design reviews, and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5-8 years of professional embedded software development with firmware shipped through integration, test, and production (preferably defense/aerospace or security-critical products).
  • •Strong C/C++ expertise for ARM Cortex-M class microcontrollers, including real-time, interrupt-driven, memory-constrained development.
  • •Hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS (or comparable RTOS such as FreeRTOS or ThreadX) and willingness to specialize in Zephyr.
  • •Demonstrable DSP and sensor signal-processing experience, including ADC interfacing, digital filtering, spectral analysis, feature extraction, and event/anomaly detection in noisy environments.
  • •Experience implementing embedded security features such as secure boot (e.g., MCUboot), signed firmware and secure update, root of trust, key provisioning/zeroization, anti-rollback, and secure debug control.
