Job Summary

Lead and manage the plant in a goal- and results-oriented way to achieve KPIs across safety, productivity, cost, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction. Own plant budget preparation and investment planning, define and track production performance metrics, and ensure legal and insurance compliance. Drive continuous improvement, coordinate across sites and supply chain, provide technical customer support, and manage people including hiring, development, and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage the plant to achieve performance indicators across safety, productivity, costs, quality requirements, and customer satisfaction.
•Manage production, technical services, warehouse/shipping, and quality assurance to meet plant KPIs while preparing and complying with the plant budget and investment plan.
•Define and monitor production KPIs (e.g., performance, efficiency, utilization) and ensure compliance with accident prevention regulations and legal/insurance requirements.
•Drive continuous improvement in occupational safety and employee health, coordinate synergies with other plants, and support change management at the plant.
•Handle personnel management for direct reports, including hiring/termination, training and development, disciplinary matters, and annual performance and development reviews.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering (University of Applied Sciences / Technical University) or technical vocational training with 3–5 years of professional experience as a Production Manager or comparable managerial role in manufacturing.
•Experience in serial or mass production, preferably in the packaging or packaging materials industry.
•Sound knowledge of business administration.
•Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
•MS Office and general IT skills.
